Our Story
God's Little Angels Prep School (GLA) was founded in 1986 by Renee Phillips with a deeply personal mission: to provide safe, compassionate childcare for children needing specialized care and support.
What began as a heartfelt response to community needs has grown into a trusted, multigenerational cornerstone serving families across South DeKalb County.
Since 1993, we have proudly served the Lithonia community at our location on Covington Highway. Over nearly four decades, GLA has evolved from a small childcare center into a comprehensive early learning institution and family support hub, offering not just education, but hope, opportunity, and pathways to economic mobility for low-to-moderate income families.
Today, God's Little Angels Prep School continues its legacy of care and excellence, empowering children, supporting families, and investing in the future of the community one child at a time.
What Makes GLA Different
Academic Readiness First
